THINGS TO NOTE:

Cherry Orchard Farm is a working farm, so from time to time, there will be some 'rural' smells in the air and tractors and machinery working in nearby fields late into the evening!  We will, of course, try to keep this to a minimum if we have guests staying, but quite often the weather forecast dictates the work on the farm so we have little option but to keep on working...  If you'd like to find out more about the work we are doing, please don't hesitate to ask.  If we feel any work is going to disrupt your stay in any way, we will give you plenty of notice.

During autumn and winter, or if the weather is wet, bringing your wellingtons or good boots is advisable, particularly if you are staying in the shepherd's hut.  Although we have either gravel or wood chip paths around, boots are definitely handy.

If you are staying in the shepherd hut and have booked the use of the hot tub, it's a good idea to bring some flip flops or suitable footwear for when you get out of the tub!
